Back after hiatus!
That was a really confusing “Previously On” segment.
Ah, a vamp not let in. For once. Oh, poor Jenna. Her world just fell apart.
Mmm, Salvatore brothers. Katherine assures them she’s on their side to kill Klause.
Alaric to Jenna. Just fucking tell her what’s going on!!!! Saying you will doesn’t do anything!!!
Alaric punches John. Awesome.
Caroline freaking out about Matt freaking out.
John invited Isobel into the house. Goddamn it.
Isobel talks about trying to find Klause. Anyone who knows Elena is the doppelganger will be trying to get to her. John says he and Isobel killed the entombed vampires. Isobel has a safehouse set up for Elena.
Bonnie, Damon, Jeremy to warlock dude’s house. They are confirmed dead because Damon can enter. Bonnie can harness Salem witch power if they find the spot where they were burned.
Isobel and Katherine. All cuddly. Isobel has been making a deal with Klause to save Katherine’s life.
Isobel was jealous about Jenna dating Alaric. She’s using John for information. She also says, through knowing a witch, Klause will grant Katherine freedom if she can deliver the moonstone and the doppelganger. Katherine is willing to betray the Salvatores again.
Stefan doesn’t want to totally ignore Isobel, even though she’s a liar.
Sheriff and Mrs. Lockwood. Tyler is still gone. Caroline still freaking out about Matt.
Damon, Bonnie, and Jeremy to the Salem death area. What a weird little trio they are.
Damon stuck to the floor, and his ring stopped working and he started to burn! He goes outside to avoid more trouble.
Katherine stealing and rummaging. The moonstone is hidden in with some soap.
Alaric and Isobel. She tries to apologize. And says she loved him. It’s all to distract him while another vamp takes him down!!
Damon locked out of ruined witch house.
Bonnie and Jeremy. She starts the spell, they can hear their voices. Jeremy freaked.
Candles alight.
Isobel bites John!
Katherine is there dressed as Elena!!!
Isobel driving away with unconscious Elena. After a few minutes, Stefan figures out he’s not with Elena. Maybe sooner but was playing along. Katherine injects him with something and throws him into the woods.
Bonnie reacting to the witches, in pain. Suddenly it seems to be over.
Damon tells Mrs. Lockwood and the Sheriff that John will be coming back to life at some point due to his ring.
Matt talks to the Sheriff. Wants to see Vicki’s file and how her death by vampire was covered up.
Hello, shirtless Damon. Stefan calls him, and Damon sees the moonstone is missing.
We find out Isobel was playing Katherine the whole time! She set it up and a powerful vamp knocks out Katherine.
It’s impossible to tell who’s double crossing who on this show. It’s confusing.
Caroline trying to call Matt yet again. But he’s already at her house. Sheriff threatened to arrest him so she brought him to their house.
Matt says he needs to know more about Vicki, and her.
Bonnie says witches’ chant was a warning. Bonnie gives a demonstration of the power she now has—creates a storm out of the beautiful day.
Damon guesses Isobel would be at the nicest foreclosure in town. He and Stefan charge in. Isobel isn’t there.
Isobel brings Elena to the cemetery. Elena skeptical. Brings her to Isobel’s grave. Strong vamp calls and says Isobel can let the doppelganger go, that she’s done doing what she needs to do for him. Says she’s sorry she (vamp version because Elena never met human version) was a disappointment to Elena, rips off her necklace, and fries herself in the sunlight!
Caroline telling Matt everything. And that she loves him. Matt answers by saying he’s all alone. He says he wants to forget everything.
Elena is upset Isobel is dead.
Damon and Stefan want to sign their house over to Elena. John comes back to life, immediately apologizing.
Jeremy reading over the witch stuff, knows the power will kill Bonnie if she uses too much. She tells him she was called to be a witch and protect Elena/kill Klause.
Matt betrayed Caroline—he had vervane in his system. He told the Sheriff everything about Caroline, and now he’s going to tell her everything about everyone else.
John talking to Elena about Isobel. How sad she was to give Elena up. Isobel was the first girl he ever loved. He believed her. He says he’ll do whatever Elena wants him to do. Even leave. She tells him everything he touches falls apart. But he’s the only parent she has, and maybe she can learn not to hate him.
Damon and Stefan are the only ones who know about Bonnie—she’s their secret weapon.
Katherine waking up. Dude tied to a charge while strong vamp chants Latin. Dude tied to chair is Alaric! Spell to keep Katherine in the room. Alaric speaking in an accent—he’s really Klause!
