Supes poster art fail
Was in a comic book store last night, and there was a poster of Superman.
A poorly-drawn Superman.
This picture was taken at an angle to the poster, but you can still see that the musculature is a bit wonky, particularly in his arms. Also take note of his package, and the way the guy on the left appears to be afraid of it.
This is basically the same picture, but from straight on and with the flash turned off. Actually, right now I'm wondering at how flowy/spread out his cape seems to be. Also, you can kinda see, and in the previous pic, on his right wrist tendon/vein lines are drawn both on the skin of his wrist and *over* his sleeve. Weird. Bad.
In this close up of his face, you can see that he's either squinting profusely or developed epicanthic folds, or is just so confused it's distorting his features. Also note the way his left nostril is flared like whoa.
Perhaps there are reasons for all these things, but he just looks kinda freaky with those arms and everything. And the way he's dragging that one guy by his shirt, and the way the guy on the left is clearly terrified of him.

The drawing of the arms in general is just awful. And yeah, I wonder where his fingers are, how he's holding on.
