Totally forgot to give this a title before
Why, of all the plentiful episodes of Smallville, season 4, is the WB rerunning "Spell"? They've already rerun Spell this summer. That episode was just the first in a big group of crummy, no-sense-making episodes. I mean, I've already even giving my little write up of it somewhere in here, but I don't feel like searching for it. One note: fav line like ever in the whole series?
*Clark sees bra and tries to explain*: "It was magic."
Martha: "I'm sure it was."
JAMES MARSTERS!!!!! Eeee!
I'm excited. But kinda leary, too. We all fell in love with the guy with his British accent, bleached locks, and badass character. I have no idea what to expect from him in this, because I've never seen him in anything else other than his two-minute part in the remake of House on Haunted Hill, in which his lines mostly consisted of "Holy shit!!!" and "Oh my God!!!"
So, we'll see. He'll be with some great actors, like MR and JG. And some shitty ones, like KK.
Huh, just saw a really interesting commercial for a new show on NBC called Surface. Never heard of it, but it looks good.
Christina Ricci is on "Joey." She has spooky eyes. They worked for The Addams Family, but otherwise she just looks all bug-eyed to me.

Ahh, great great line.
James
But yeah, James Marsters!!!! I'm not thrilled by the concept of Brainiac, but I'm eager to see James in another role. But a lot of people are upset at the prospect because of his Buffyness and the fangirls or whatever. Or maybe for some reason they just don't like him. *shrugs*
But if he sucks, the odds of it being his fault, rather than the fault of writers/directors/producers/wardrobe/makeup are slim (it *is* Smallville, afterall).
If this is postponing any work on a Spike movie, then I'm gonna be upset. I'm not sure what's rumor and what's actually in the works.
And I *love* that line. I thought my friend and I were gonna die laughing at it the first time! Score one for Ma Kent!
