As usual, a mix of stuff. 'Cause I'm convoluted like that

There should be an image for an online personality quiz here, but the thingy won't work and I'm no longer proficient enough in HTML to figure out why.  And I'm tired.  So this is all you get.  You want the image, go check out [livejournal.com profile] herohunter's journal.

You are elegant, withdrawn, and brilliant.
Your mind is a weapon, able to solve any puzzle.
You are also great at poking holes in arguments and common beliefs.

For you, comfort and calm are very important.

I'd honestly like to consider that fairly accurate.  Not to sound pompous or anything.  And we all know to take Internet quizzes with a grain of salt.  Or the whole shaker, as the case may be.

And wow, my boss is an asshole.  He almost got me run over today.  Like, every time I've said I've feared for my life, I was sort of kidding.  But he pushed me out of the way with the mini-bulldozer into a car that was cutting the turn around us a little narrow, and the car missed my by near inches.  I had to stop and take a breath for a minute, I was so fearful that second.  God, he's an ass.  I don't fear anything when the other guys are driving the backhoe and stuff around, and one guy drives the friggin' thing more confidently than I drive my car, but my boss is really dangerous.  Pompous asshole.

And, holy shit.  I drove home partway through this horrible, terrible rain storm today.  It wasn't long, but it was damn scary.  The rain was actually coming down in sheets, like, the water would slam against the car, then it would be relatively clear (visibility at about 50 feet, rather than zero), then the rain would slam against the car again.  It was like driving in a car wash.  Everyone was driving with their emergency flashers on.  Except the one girl who didn't even have her headlights on.. Twit.

And today was the last day at the site where everyone who lives in the area is a fucktard.  (that's short for "fucking retard," which is horribly politically incorrect, but "fucking deficient" doesn't really shorten well)  I mean that people don't know how to drive.  As I mentioned in a previous post, they don't know how to use turn signals, so they either don't use them or use them incorrectly (they leave it on, or put the left signal on when they are going straight).  And then, the horns!  All the horns, horns, horns, horns!  Sorry, had a Grinch Who Stole Christmas moment there.  They actually seem to use their horns for literally no reason, like they'll be in the middle of the street driving, no one around, and the horn will honk.  Then everyone honks at each other, to gain attention for one reason or another, or leans on the horn for like ever when they're pissed at someone.  And then, some people honk to gain our attention to say hi.  Yesterday the local lumber guy honked hello each time he drove by yesterday (4 or 5 times).  And then, people pulling out into the intersection from the side streets... Oy.  People either pull halfway into the street before even looking, or they take ten minutes of looking back and forth before they pull out, when there's clearly no one coming (I've driven from both sides of the intersection- it's not that blind).  It's my job to guide them in pulling out, and half the time I tell them to go, and they hesitate, and then thye finally get going, but by that time it's no longer safe for them to move.  REALLY frustrating when you're trying to ensure that there's no accident.  But really, if there had been accident, it wouldn't have been our fault, most likely.  I'm just glad to be away from this area, into one where people don't use their horns, and they know how to pull out, and they know how to use their turn signals and actually do so.

I think that's it for now.  Other than a ton of updates on my friends page.  Half the time the page doesn't change for a day (though I don't have too many people friended, which might be why).
