FOX warning
Okay............. The Simpsons is on, and FOX's little warning at the beginning of the episode warned that the episode contains discussion of same sex marriage.
...
And that's worthy of a warning because...?
Considering the racy stuff on FOX, discussion of same sex marriage really shouldn't even rate.
Now I really want to watch the episode to see what's said. Unless it goes into complex discussions of who's a top or a bottom or something, it should be fine for viewers. Then again, I suppose my views are a little skewed. :)

Everything is fine (though I think offensive to gay people), until Patty, Marge's sister, tells Marge that she's a lesbian and is getting married. Marge basically freaks out, which brings up the point about people being a certain way in theory but then act differently when they are actually affected by something.
It's like the first time Homer actually supports Patty more than Marge.
Then, Marge catches Patty's fiance in the bathroom, and realizes she's actually a man. Marge holds her tongue at the wedding until the "if anyone thinks these two should not be wed" part, then tells Patty what she saw. Patty's upset, and doesn't want to marry the man.
Return to all being well, such as it is for The Simpsons.

Like, it's good that the show is willing to go out there (like South Park, which just goes for the throat of everyone), but when I watch The Simpsons I'm not usually expecting some sort of political statement.
It was a good ep, though, it had some really funny lines (the ones that weren't related at all to homosexuality).
