Batman (1989)
Just finished watching the original Batman movie.
Damn, it's good.
Jack Nicholson is absolutely amazing. One of his lines even has him calling Batman "Batsy."
Michael Keaton seems a bit expressive for Batman, but that's okay. He's Michael Keaton so he rocks. The guy at work's been raving about Beetlejuice for two days, so MK has been on my mind.
Duh, I've seen it before, just not all at once in a long, long time.
The only bad part is it's so 1980s.
Damn, Danny Elfman writes amazing stuff. Why didn't anyone at my undergrad school know who he is?
Long live Batman!

Anyway, my fave Batman movie was Batman Returns. But that was mainly b/c of Catwoman. The first one was the best though.
Did you know Danny Elfman also composed the theme for Spider-man?

I was *obsessed* with Batman Returns when I was little. I even have the novelization of the movie. And my Batman and Catwoman action figures. Catwoman was pretty darn awesome in that. Both movies have their appeal.
Yep, not that I could hum the Spider-man theme. I'm not much of a Spidey fan, though I saw both movies (he's too much of a dork for me, and Mary-Jane is irritating, maybe even more so than Lois). Then again, I only saw the first one because my friends were going, and the second because I saw it for free. Awesome train sequence in the second one.
I love Danny Elfman's stuff (he did Men in Black and Nightmare begore Christmas, too, both of which are awesome scores). Senior year the film society at school held a movie trivia night, and I wanted to have a category for Danny Elfman music, but it got vetoed because no one in the club knew who he was! I almost cried.

Moving on, um...how are you?

How am I? I'm good. Nothing uber bad or uber good to report at the moment.
You?

Believe me, I was horrified that no one in the *film* society knew who he was.
